I have this tap installed & have even seen it start once & it took about a minute to scan a file.  I son't know if it changed anything or not.  I have seen it scan the same file the next time I started Toppy.

The problem is that even though I can get into this taps settings there is no explanation as to what each option does.

One should know if its possible that every file that has been recorded is scanned & and/or fixed or were none that needed to be  fixed.  Or can one set the tap to just certain recordings etc?

Is there any details about what & how it does things?

A PDF file called  "RebuildNAV.pdf" should be present in "ProgramFiles/Settings/RebuildNAV/" along with the .ini and .lng files.  If you used TaptoDate to install RebuildNAV it shoudl be there.

It has instructions in both English and German. In case you can't find it I attach the one from my machine (V5.0). NOTE - I don't guarantee that this is the latest.

If you didn't use TaptoDate to install, then you can get it from the ZIP file at the TaptoDate site it was 7th in the list when I looked.
